![]() It’s like my favorite quote from When Harry Met Sally… “When you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible!” And since they’re both teachers, they figured it’d be best to just plan the wedding right in the beginning of their school year so they could enjoy the rest as a Mr. Not only not stressed but not even nervous. They got engaged this past summer and were able to plan their wedding in just 4 months!! And not only that but they were calm and cool the entire time, never ONCE were stressed about the entire process. I have to give so much credit to Jordan and Chris. ![]() What a cutie!! SO much joy from every single person, and animal, that was there to celebrate these two □ I mean… the photos of Oklahoma watching Chris getting ready just MELT my heart. Even their sweet rescue dog, Oklahoma, was SO excited! Normally a shy dog, he warmed right up to Jose when he went to Chris and Jordan’s house and would not stop posing for his camera. Henshaw’s wedding day and loved seeing her become a Mrs.! It was the cutest thing ever. They could not stop jumping up and down and giggling… they got to play dress up, walk down the aisle with their bouquets and be the stars of the show! And they little ring boys? Oh my goodness… they killed me with their cuteness! So tiny but so well-behaved and just the cutest little boys EVER!! Even Jordan & Chris’ students were able to make it to their ceremony and watching Jordan’s fourth grade students REACT to the ceremony and their first kiss was so much fun. These girls were SO giddy! You had to see them as they were getting dressed. If I had to give an award to the most excited people of the day, besides our gorgeous couple, it would be their adorable flower girls. EVERYONE was so pumped up that Jordan & Chris’ day was here. The excitement in the air was contagious. We had barely any sunlight left (plus it was dark and stormy all day) and somehow, their portraits came together beautifully! What makes the day even more enjoyable is when our Bride and Groom just know that this is something that can’t be controlled and to just go with the flow! Jordan & Chris were SO unbelievably happy that their wedding day was here, not even the rain could derail them from that excitement! It’s funny because everything just seemed to work out perfectly for them – they got married and the cutest little church with the PERFECT porch big enough to hold their bridal party AND the perfect space for the portraits of just the two of them. As photographers, if there is a chance on rain on a wedding day – we enter the day with a good attitude, knowing no matter what we will get what our Bride and Groom need. I texted Jordan to let her know we would come prepared, with smiles on our faces and just deal with it the best we can. ![]() Not just a little sprinkling but a LOT of rain. ![]() 3 days before their big day, it was clear that the weather was not going to change and Jordan & Chris would have rain on their wedding day.
